Running through the Madrid Barajas Airport to find my lost IPad again. The art of traveling is, among others, getting everything through security when pressed by time, heat and Spanish security dudes. Friendly people can't completely undo inefficient communication and collaboration at a reasonably busy airport! July 16-2012.
Miami, it's hard not to see how Florida and Miami are hit hard by this double dip! Closed stores for rent or sale and open stores without customers. Not a good mix!July 14-2012
Brazil, the view from Sao Paulo: Paulista's work 11 months hard for 1 month vacation, Carioca's work 1 month for 11 months hanging on the beach and do nothing! July 11-2012
Discussion topic from Paris throughout the Netherlands.... the liquid summer and failing sport teams! Are we ready for the Olympics? Who'll stop the Rain and Waiting for a Sunny Day, 2 Classics. July 2012
Lima Peru, who is the originator of Pisco Sour? Chile or Peru. I know it's nice and quite dangerous stuff. August 2012
Peru is nowadays the fastest growing economy in Latin America. Because of that the ministry of telecommunications is seriously planning a digital highway. Compared to NBN in Australia and in contrast with Europe. Such digital fast and cheaper coverage is no longer on the agenda of the EU! August 2012
In Switzerland and most Western countries trains are programmed in very specific departure and arrival times. For instance 08:42 departure and arrival at 11:51. The Brazilians look at this as, a train comes after 8 and arrives before 12, thats what matters, lets not make it too complicated. July 2012
There is progress in Brazil on all levels, even or certainly in the favela's in São Paulo. What a contrast to the rapidly developing shanty town outside Paris, in St Denis in de Stade de France neighborhood. Shame on local government and the Hollande government. Dec 2012
