It’s August 31, to me the end of summer, tourists are leaving, schoolchildren back at their playgrounds and the "normal" routines are picking up again (what is normal nowadays). This summer flew by so quickly. September 1 the sprint to the finish line, or the final 4 months of 2020 starts and I was thinking about a song to reflect my own aspirations to close this year. There it was the Stones from Let it Bleed, “You can’t always get what you want”. To me a classic, whilst actually the final lines of the refrain are the story “but if you try sometime you just might find, you get what you need”.
There’s a lot happening for all of us in the remainder of this utterly strange year. Looking forward to see all (plus our newcomer) of you again soon and don’t forget to listen and appreciate the music that inspires you!
