"Ah but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now". Turning 65!

Easter Monday,
April 19-2022. Easter was never really a big event to me, except the egg-hunt for the kids and in my own youth playing football tournaments with school or Alliance-RBC-FC Paars. Then there's April 19th, dang, I turned 65! I'm blessed for raising a great family, having a healthy and fit body topped with natural passion, energy and in general a positive attitude.

It's the first time that I realize that the bigger part of life is behind me. For sure I was never a fan of turning 50 (I used to name it the fckg 50ies!), yet 60 felt good. And now 65! The big question is what are you going to do with the rest of your life? I will put more emphasis on continuing the great life we built and nurturing our very dear Family and Friends. Sometimes step into memory lane with flashbacks from the Netherlands, USA, UK, France, Brazil and now enjoying the greatness of Amsterdam and Provence with regular trips to London.

To prepare my own future in June I will cycle the 610 KM Dutch Coast Ride (Le Tour Dubois) to celebrate my retirement from Corporate life and reaching 65 and simultaneously I will slowdown in the department of: pedal to the metal! My simple goal: stay physical and mentally fit, keep learning new things, remain inquisitive, share experiences and have FUN!
