Vive La France in January 2013!

In 2012 the French movie industry produced over 200 movies and yes 86% lost money. The French Government sponsored about 40% of the total production budget. Main spending category are guess what...the actors and guess one more time, where are these actors living or going to live...outside France. That’s an interesting business model for a country looking to get its finances in order! Alain Delon lives in Switzerland for ages and the biggest media darling right now is Gerard Depardieu, just moved into a small town in Belgium and moreover became a Russian citizen this week. Talking about actors and Russia also Brigitte Bardot has had it with this beautiful country and  seem to apply for Russian citizenship.

This week, the very first business weeks in this countries the taxi drivers decided to go on strike. Well trust me that's a real mess with e.g. Operations Escargot and I trust the readers of this blog don't need a translation to get an idea of what this is about? Every street in Paris is basically blocked, furious non-taxi drivers are testing massively their horns. Reason for the strike: irregular competition....

Vive La France!
