Very few things are more amusing than killing an hour at Miami's airport and watching people stroll buy.
A sample of the goodies: Dreamers, runners, stressors, lovers, grumpier s, happy folks, hippies, the Jesus fans, the basket ball NBA star wannabe, small kids on a leash, Disney figures, grandparents, old rents, very young rents, family in training suits, couples wearing same t-shirts with matching hats, people walking on crocs (more and more), beauty queens/women wearing comfortable shoes, facelifters, bad facelifters, business men wearing tassels, business men wearing sneakers under a suite, the family clan, heavy packed people, the light traveler, aged flight attendants with too long blond hair and the show goes on. Most people wearing sneakers and for international trips, like destination Rio, Paris, Amsterdam, São Paulo it's the classic sneaker and preferably brand new ones. They are either eating, chewing, calling or texting when they walk. For Americans style never is out of fashion! What attracts me here, aswell, is the real diversity of the population, everyone passes by: Bostonians, Mexicans, New Yorkers, Canadians, Cubans, Columbians, Germans, Italians, Chinese, French is all here and most have an American passport. The areal melting pot.
It was an hour well spend, I do believe there are very few nationalities so incredibly badly dressed than our American friends. The good thing....they absolutely don't care.
A stereo typing blog, perhaps I just felt the desire to share. What I also wanted to share is the state of American Airlines. I travel about 150 miles a year and with a variety of airlines. In my final analyses no airline comes close as when it comes to: inferior seats and leg space, crappy entertainment system (1 screen for 50 people in economy), dirty seats and trays, the worst yes absolutely food you can get in the sky, for breakfast not even coffee and what is a real worry some fact is the most disengaged staff I have ever encountered in a plane. It was again a terrible experience, unfortunately they almost monopolize traffic between Rio and Miami. So I really had no choice because if I have a choice I never fly AA (and I used to be a Gold Member!)
