April 1st, and it's not a joke, it's an au revoir to my company car, for about my entire professional life I've enjoyed this perk, and we've had a few great ones! Starting with a very ugly Ford Taunus Vanilla station wagon all the way to the great Audi Q5 Hybrid and lot's of Volvo's and BMW's in between!
It's part of the transitioning process I guess. We can't complain, our private fleet is still up to sniff!
As I'm saying goodbye to this, I've received a nice box from Ben Smith, CEO of Air France - KLM welcoming me as a Platinum for Life member. To me this has many perks such as lounge access and no cueing with the masses! One get this after 10 years of consecutive flying AF-KLM at this level, oeppfff when i think about that, thats many hours in the air! Nonetheless i'm very pleased with this new perk...for life.
Also pleased to be back in Villars, good weather and I took a spin with my bike (Giant), and yes the flat roads around Amsterdam are no comparison to the hilly and mountainesque roads here. Le Plat Pays, c' est fini.
